The Cosmopolitan recalls the fabled days of Palm Springs' golden era of long lazy days that stretch well into night, sipping cocktails poolside in a true Desert oasis.
Situated in the highly desirable Las Palmas neighborhood, The Cosmopolitan offers 3,494 square feet of indoor living space on a ½ acre lot. With the stunning San Jacinto Mountains rising from both the south and west, the private yard features breathtaking views of the rugged vistas providing the perfect compliment to the lush and serene outdoor living spaces.
Upon entering through the private front courtyard, a large glass door opens into the main foyer of the home. Directly ahead, the Great Room is anchored by a floor-to-ceiling mirrored chrome gas fireplace, complimented by deeply polished black marble flooring which runs throughout the homes common areas. At the south end of the home, expansive sliding glass doors open onto the pool and patio area, providing unobstructed views of the mountains beyond.
The well-appointed Chef's Kitchen offers abundant space for at-home meal preparation. The suite of Stainless Steel appliances include a gas cooktop, convection oven, French door refrigerator and wine cooler- this kitchen has been outfitted to place even the most novice Chef at ease! Once the meal has been prepared, guests can choose to dine in the Formal Dining Room or at the Breakfast Bar or dining table adjacent to the Kitchen for more casual meals.
The Media Room is adjacent to the Dining Room with a wall mounted 50“ Flat Screen TV situated over the built-in gas fireplace. A sectional sofa provides comfortable seating for guests to enjoy a movie or simply unwind with a book!
The four Guest Quarters are located on the east end of the home, providing separation from the homes main living spaces. The Master Suite features a California King sized bed, Flat Screen TV, large walk-in closet and access to the pool patio. The Master bath offers a single vanity, large jetted tub, and walk-in glass/tile shower. The first and second Guest Quarters each feature Queen sized beds, Flat Screen TV and direct patio access. These two bedrooms share a common bath, with a single vanity and step-in tub/shower combination. The fourth Guest Quarters are located in the poolside casita, with a California King sized bed, Flat Screen TV and en-suite bath with walk-in tile shower. This casita also features a private lounge area with retro-style gas fireplace, sitting area and Flat Screen TV. This lounge space is also accessible from the pool patio; however, can be secured from the guest quarters.
Bringing indoor living to the out of doors, The Cosmopolitan features an in-ground pool and spa, with multiple seating areas surrounding it. There are breathtaking mountain views from every vantage point, especially from the unique rooftop sundeck, which is accessible via circular staircase. A poolside Cabana offers shade for those seeking respite from the sun while still enjoying the outdoor atmosphere. The outdoor living areas also include a gas BBQ, outdoor dining area, outdoor shower, and poolside powder room, bringing every amenity poolside!
